Students the careers class at Greene County High School visited Jefferson Telecom on Feb. 12.
Chief operating officer Jamie Daubendiek and certified technical operator Duane Russell gave students a tour of the building. The two talked about rapidly changing technology and how Jefferson Telecom keeps current with technology demands.
Students also learned about human resources within a business, and the need to build strong relationships for working with colleagues and the public. Daubendiek and Russell also communicated that stress management, being patient, and being a problem solver are as much a part of the workforce as they are in personal life. The both talked of the importance of being lifelong learners.
